Financial Responsibility Agreement Action Item Processing

Beginning Summer/Fall 2025 registration, students will need to clear an action item in Oscar before registering for courses. The purpose of the Student Financial Responsibility Agreement is to ensure students understand their financial obligations to the University System of Georgia upon course registration. You can find more information regarding this agreement in the USG Accounts Receivable section of the Business Procedures Manual Section 10.1.1.1,here.

PLEASE NOTE ALL STUDENTS WILL HAVE A FINANCIAL AGREEMENT ACTION ITEM THIS PHASE.  THIS ACTION ITEM CAN BE PROCESSED IMMEDIATELY IN OSCAR BY FOLLOWING THE INSTRUCTIONS LISTED BELOW. ONCE THE ACTION ITEM IS PROCESSED, YOU WILL BE ABLE TO REGISTER FOR COURSES. 

 

  1. Navigate to Oscar.gatech.edu and select “Secure Access Login” 
  2. Navigate to the registration page 
     
  3. Choose Prepare for Registration 
     
  4. Click Continue on Pop Up 
     
  5. Click the Financial Agreement Box to bring up the Financial Agreement
     
  6. Read the agreement and as you scroll to the bottom of the document in the box on the right and click “I agree to the statements above.” followed by clicking save. 
     
  7. Once the Financial Agreement box says complete, click continue
     
  8. Select the appropriate term to register for classes
